This is
one such recipe which is made with sweet corn, “Corn Halwa” has a brilliant yellow colour.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1 cup grated sweet corn cobs
- 1 cup full fat milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp fresh grated coconut
- 1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
- A few saffron (kesar) strands
- 1/2 cup chopped mixed nuts
- A piece of edible silver leaf (vark) for the garnish
Method
- Heat the ghee in a kadhai, add the sweet corn and sauté till it turns golden brown, while stirring continuously.
- Add the milk and sugar and simmer till the sugar dissolves.
- Add the coconut, cardamom powder and saffron and cook till the halwa leaves the sides of the kadhai.
- Add the dry fruits and mix well.
- Serve hot garnished with edible silver foil.
