Healthy and nutritious salad, a very delicious for you.
Preparation Time : 10 mins.
Serves 4.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups baby potatoes with skin
- 1/2 cup boiled green peas
- 1 cup lettuce leaves, chopped into pieces
- Salt to taste
Ingredients for low fat curds dressing
- 1/4 cup fresh curds (dahi)
- 2 teaspoons chopped dill (shepu / suva)
- A dash of chopped green chillies
- 2 tablespoons low fat milk
- Salt to taste
For the low fat curds dressing
- Tie the low fat curds in a thin muslin cloth. Hang for 1 hour and allow the water to drain out.
- Put the hung curds in a bowl and whisk thoroughly to remove all lumps.
- Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Store in the refrigerator and use as required.
How to proceed
- Boil the potatoes and cut into halves. Leave aside to cool.
- Combine the potatoes, peas and lettuce in a serving bowl.
- Add the salad and curd dressing and toss it well.
- Put it in Refrigerator for about half an hour.
- Serve chilled
