Moong Ki Daal Ka Halwa

Today I am going to share a recipe of one of the delightful sweet dish of indian kitchen
"Moong Ki Daal Ka Halwa".

Preparation Time : 20-25 min
Makes for :
6-8 person


  • 1 cup Moong Daal paste
  • 2 tsp suji
  • 1.25 cup Desi Ghee
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cup milk
  • 1 cup dry fruits (almond, cashew-nut, raisin)
For Moong Daal Paste:
  • Soak Moong Daal (yellow) in water for 4 hours.
  • take out this moong daal and grind it.
  • Add suji in it and mix it well.
  • Now Moong Daal paste is ready.
For Moong daal halwa:
  • Add desi ghee in karahi and heat it.
  • Now add moong daal paste in karahi and stir it continuously till it becomes golden.
  • After that add sugar and milk to it.
  • Stir it continuously till it drys out or it looses from corners.
  • Now add crushed dry fruits to it and serve it hot.
