Sweet Corn Soup
Lets enjoy winter with recipe series of soups. The
delicate and pleasant flavor of corn makes this a popular choice.

Makes 6 servings
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels, lightly crushed
- 3 tbsp cornflour dissolved in 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3/4 cup grated sweet corn kernels
- salt to taste
For Serving
- chilies in vinegar
- chilli sauce
Method
- Put 4 cups of water in a kadhai, add the corn, prepared cornflour-water mixture, salt and sugar, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Add the grated corn, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add 1/4 cup of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot with chilies in vinegar, soya sauce and chilli sauce.
