Hey guys, this navratri I was having fast for whole week. But seriously it was really a treat for me. Mom use to cook a delicious Indian dessert "KHEER"for me this week. So I thought, this should be shared with all of you guys. A kheer, elegantly laced with the sweet flavor of cardamoms and
topped with mixed nuts.
Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 17 mins
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup grated paneer
- 1 1/4 cups condensed milk
- 1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
- 3 tbsp chopped nuts like cashewnuts, almonds and pistachios

The Garnish
- 1 tbsp almond and pistachio slivers
Method
- Combine the milk and paneer in a broad non-stick pan and bring to boil, while stirring continuously.
- Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Add the condensed milk and simmer for another 4 to 5 minutes.
- Remove from the flame, add the cardamom powder and mixed nuts and mix well.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Serve chilled garnished with almonds and pistachios.
