Healthy Potato-Peas Salad


Hey guys this one after a long time.
Healthy and nutritious salad, a very delicious for you.
Preparation Time : 10 mins.
Serves 4.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups baby potatoes with skin
  • 1/2 cup boiled green peas
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves, chopped into pieces
  • Salt to taste
Ingredients for low fat curds dressing
  • 1/4 cup fresh curds (dahi)
  • 2 teaspoons chopped dill (shepu / suva)
  • A dash of chopped green chillies
  • 2 tablespoons low fat milk
  • Salt to taste
For the low fat curds dressing
  1. Tie the low fat curds in a thin muslin cloth. Hang for 1 hour and allow the water to drain out.
  2. Put the hung curds in a bowl and whisk thoroughly to remove all lumps.
  3. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Store in the refrigerator and use as required.
How to proceed
  1. Boil the potatoes and cut into halves. Leave aside to cool.
  2. Combine the potatoes, peas and lettuce in a serving bowl.
  3. Add the salad and curd dressing and toss it well.
  4. Put it in Refrigerator for about half an hour.
  5. Serve chilled
